About Homeopathy
Homeopathy has been used since the father of medicine Hippocrates (100BC), but it was Dr Samuel Hahnemann (1755-1843) who developed it into a powerful form of medicine.
The whole person is treated: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. Emma spends time getting to know what makes you an individual so as to choose the appropriate remedies.
Nutritional advice and herbal tinctures also play an important role within homeopathy.
The remedies are pleasant to taste and dissolve in the mouth quickly and easily. They are specially prepared to stimulate the body into healing itself in a deep level.
Why use homeopathy?
- Homeopathic remedies are not tested on animals. They are tested on people and we know the effect on the human body.
- Treats symptoms safely and effectively
- Is not habit forming
- Works with the immune system rather than against it
- Improves resistance to infection
- Shortens recovery time after illness, often preventing complications
- Can be used alongside medication from your doctor and as your condition improves, you may be able to reduce your need for this medication
- Can be used alongside the vaccination process to minimise side-effects.
